Selector with a mobile bogie truck
Component container with bow-type handle
The rotating selector – RS line – is designed for portioning a production batch. By means of the dividing up of the production batch into small quantities, a continuous, unproblematic control of the production quality is possible. Variations in dimension on the produced part are detected early and therefore, you can take corrective action into the manufacturing process.

For the desired portion sizes, we can supply component containers with different volumes. The volume of the container is determined by the size of the components and the number of parts to be selected. Every selector can be delivered with various quantities of containers. The standard is 6/12 or 8/16 containers.

The base of the container is perforated allowing for the coolant to be collected on the tray of the selector and flows back over the integrated oil dish and a pipe into the machine.

In case of the ”BIB-system” two containers are inside each other. The inner container is in the oil bath of the external container. Carried parts will be slowed down by the oil - damages will be minimized. The excess oil flows back into the machine as described above. After the filling, the inner container can be placed on top of the external container in order to drain.

Upon request all component containers can be equipped with control containers for the quality documentation (SPC). For this purpose, the necessary control functions can also be retrofitted. Furthermore, the clock frequency can

be adapted to the production rate of the components upon request. Therefore, it will be possible to carry out a spindle control by multispindle automatic lathes. One container will be allocated to each spindle – deviations in dimension can be interpreted.

Universal control

With the newly developed micro-processor control, all control tasks, also customized, can be solved withoutany problems. By changing easily the memory moduleeach standard control can be adapted to the customer’s requirements.

Technical Data

Selector RS 300 RS 425 RS 600
Number of containers pcs 6/12 or 8/16
Operating voltage VAC 230
Control voltage VDC 10/24
Driving power VA 3,5 11,5 11,5
Filling weight per container kgs 5 10 15
Diameter "D" mm 311 436 611
Diameter "d" mm 166 230 279
Height "H" mm 68 106 106
Weight without container kgs 5,5 12,5 16,5

Height per gradation mm 35 45 45
Overall height mm 75-215 75-215 75-355
The total height will be calculated from the dimension "H" and the height of the containners. This height will be calculated from the smallest height (75 mm) plus the gradation x height per gradation.
Calculated example: A container with 1,25 l will be required for the selector type RS 300
Gradation: 1,25 l - 0,5l = 0,75l -> 0,75l/0,25l = 3 -> 3x35 mm + 75 mm = 180 mm
